Discover the marvellous landscapes of the Thousand Island Lake and Pinglin Tea Plantation with this half day tour! Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience a relaxing trip to the Thousand Island Lake and Pinglin Tea Plantation. At the Thousand Island Lake, you can look at the spectacular scenery of endless rows of mountains, terraced tea fields and cerulean blue water. Soak up the serene landscape of lush green hills and small islands. Next, you will visit Pinglin Tea Plantation. Over there, you can learn more about the tea planting process. Then you can head over to Pinglin Tea Museum, where you can know more about the Chinese tea culture as well as enjoy some local tea. Join this tour and learn about the rich tea history and culture.

  • Please note that Pinglin Tea Museum is closed on the first Monday of each month. You will visit Pinglin Old Street instead.
  • Tours are conducted in English. 
  • Pick up and drop off service from hotels located in downtown Taipei City only.
  • Please note that transfer service is on a shared basis
  • Pick up time is around 07:30 am to 08:00 am.
  • Please be at pick up location at least 10 minutes before the pick up time.

Important Notes:

  • Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
  • The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
  • There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
  • In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator.
  • Booking is required to be made 7 days prior the tour departure date.
  • In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
