Apart from learning science with textbooks and encyclopaedias, you can also expand your scientific knowledge here at NEMO Science Museum. In the largest science museum of the Netherlands, you will find proof that science and technology can be captivating for all ages.

With over five floors of exciting hands-on activities, you can experience the joy of science and technology, by blowing gigantic soap bubbles, watch an enormous chain reaction and experiment in a real laboratory right here at NEMO.

That’s not all! In a variety of exhibitions, you can ‘Take a journey through the mind’ or learn that there is more than meets the eye when it comes to sustainable electricity and smart transportation at ‘Smart Technology’. In ‘Science throughout the Ages’, see a timeline of discoveries by scientists all over the world and journey through the Age of Enlightenment with old travel journals and atlases.

• Admission is free to children age 4 and below
• Unsupervised children aged 12 and above can enter the museum, but they may not supervise younger children
• Children below the age of 12 can only enter the museum if supervised by individuals aged 16 or above
• Do not eat in the museum, except at designated locations
• Pets are not allowed in the museum
