Gather your friends and family to enjoy a private one-day tour of the scenic Jiufen (Yehliu, Juifen, and Shifen).
If you dislike the fixed schedules that come with travelling in a tour group, why not opt for a private tour instead? This particular one takes you on a one-day adventure to discover Jiufen, a mountain town in north Taiwan.
Stop by the Yehliu Cape, which is a natural wonder: The cape extends 1,700m into the ocean, and was formed from the Datun Mountain. Also, don’t miss the hoodoo stones that dot the land; each one of them has a unique shape (and name to go along with it)!
Yet another natural attraction is the beautiful Golden Waterfall (located near the Golden Ecological Park). Once a site for a mineral processing plant, the waters are laden with heavy metal deposits, which have turned the channel gold.
Lastly, visit the Jiufen Old Street. Wander through the rustic alleys, and while soaking in the marketplace atmosphere, pick up some delicious street food or souvenirs. Here, you can also catch a glimpse of the stunning ocean view.
