Overview

Take in breathtaking sights of the Mornington Peninsula region with a ride in the state-of-the-art gondolas. The Arthurs Seat Eagle will take you up and over the state forest to the highest point of the peninsula to admire views of the bay, the city and everything in between.

The ultimate way to go sightseeing in the region, this one-way journey takes on passengers at either Dromana Base Station or Summit Seat Station for the 15-minute journey. The choice is also there for passengers to enjoy a return journey to enjoy one last look at the region from this unique vantage point.

These gondolas are designed to operate in all weather conditions and are enclosed cabins that can cater to a range of ages and abilities. You don't need to book a time to ride up in the gondola, instead, you just purchase your ticket online here, arrive at either the base station or summit station during operating hours and enjoy the ride.

Operating Hours

  • Spring Season 23rd September until 20th December. Open seven days a week from 10am to 5:00pm
  • Summer Season 21st December to 26th February. Open seven days a week from 10am to 7pm. The last Gondola departure time is at 6:30pm
  • Autumn Season 27th February to 30t Gondola departh March. Open seven days a week. Sunday through to Thursday 10am to 6pm. The lasture time is at 5:30pm Friday and Saturday 10am to 7pm. The last Gondola departure time is at 6:30pm
  • Winter Season: 31st March - 22nd September. Open seven days a week from 10am to 5:00pm. The last Gondola departure time is at 4:30pm
  • Closed on Christmas Day
