Here at the Zoological Park of Paris, all animal habitats have been grouped into five 'biozones’. As you travel through the park, you'll be going from Europe to Madagascar, and the Sudan to Patagonia. Not to forget, there’s also an amazon zone.
Keep an eye out for the Big Rock – a 65m-tall artificial mini-mountain, which is an iconic symbol of the Paris Zoological Park. Catching a glimpse of it means you're nearing an encounter with wild animals - including giraffes, rhinos, ring-tailed lemurs, seals and young lions. A day here puts you right into the heart of an animal-centric adventure.
In the Sudan you can expect sightings of lions, giraffes and zebras (in the same biozone, but unluckily for the lions, not in the same enclosure). Europe has wolves, lynxes, otters. The Amazon zone has jaguars, monkeys and macaws, Patagonia has penguins, pumas and pudus. There’s simply so many animals to see.
If you're an animal lover, the Paris Zoo offers plenty to put a smile on your face.
