Overview

Day 1 - Sunday: Hanoi – Night train to Lao Cai

• 8:30pm: Pick up at the hotel in Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa. Overnight on train.

Day 2 – Monday: Lao Cai – Sapa – Cat Cat village

• 6am: Arrive in Lao Cai. Transfer to Sapa by car.
• Check in hotel and have breakfast
• Short trek to Cat Cat village – the village of H’mong tribe in the valley.
• Enjoy excellent views of the valley, the magnificent limestone and paddy fields of H’mong village.
• Visit families and learn about their lives and lunch.
• Go to see Cat Cat waterfall – a “White Curtain” cascade surrounded by flower valleys and green pines.
• Overnight at the hotel

Day 3 – Tuesday: Sapa – Coc Ly Market – Lao Cai – Night train to Hanoi

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Check out and travel to Coc Ly market. The market is near Chay River. Every Tuesday morning, minorities from surrounding villages such as Flower Hmong, Black Zao and Tay gather to sell and buy the products.
• After visiting the market, go downstream by boat. Along the ride, we can enjoy magnificent sights of the beautiful caves and live on the riverbank.
• Lunch later at a village. The trip offers us a visit to Trung Do village of Tay minority, where we can stop in a traditional Tay house for a cup of tea.
• Go further downstream until arriving at Bao Nhai Bridge.
• Transfer back to Lao Cai. Take night train back to Hanoi

Coc Ly Market

Day 4 - Wednesday: Lao Cai – Hanoi

• Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning. Tour ends.

Note: The tour only starts every Sunday evening because Coc Ly Market is only open every Tuesday morning.

Confirmation:

• You will receive a confirmation email within 4 working days
• In the event that you do not receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder or notify us via email

How to Buy:

• Select the preferred date and purchase online
• Kindly e-mail us your name, number of people joining the tour, hotel information, contact number and/or any other requests
• Receive a separate email confirmation within 4 working days
• Present the e-ticket to the tour operator on the day of tour for verification

Important Notes:

• Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
• The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
• There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
• In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
• In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
• Any amendments to the given tour itinerary must be given at least 48 hours before tour departures. Tour operator shall confirm and inform any price changes within 6 working hours.
• Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.

About the Tour:

• Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
• Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
• The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
• The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
• Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
• Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
