FAQs
Should I book in for a skydive at the beginning or end of my trip?
Definitely the beginning!!! The reason being is should the weather not be suitable on the first day of your trip, we can then move you to alternative days. Always book air excursions first, then land and water based activities last.
How long do I freefall?
From 15,000ft you will freefall for 60 seconds.
From 12,000ft you will freefall for 45 seconds.
From 9,000ft you will freefall for 25 seconds.
How fast do I free fall?
The maximum speed is about 200kph!!
How long is the flight?
It depends on which height you choose! But from 15,000ft it takes about 15 minutes to reach altitude
What type of planes are they?
We have 2 of the largest skydiving planes available, the Supervan 900, which can hold up to 9 tandems so groups of friends can stay together
I wear prescription glasses, do I have to take them off for my skydive?
No! We have goggles that will fit over your glasses.

How do I get there?
Our meeting point is our Skydive Centre in the middle of town in Queenstown, from there we will take you to and from the Dropzone where you skydive.
Do you allow spectators?
Providing we have enough space in our buses we can take spectators for free. This won't be guaranteed and only available at the time of the trip. They are welcome to drive themselves to watch though
Can I take my camera on the plane with me?
No, this is due to safety and insurance reasons, but you can take photos on the ground while getting ready. We do provide an option for photos and videos, which look amazing! The cost of these are $189 for photos, $189 for the USB Video or $229 for both. They can be purchased on the day and are WELL worth it!!
Can I drive to the Queenstown drop zone myself?
Yes you can, but you will still need to check in at the Nzone Skydive Centre for the briefing and then they will give you directions.
