Overview

Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau

• 8am: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and depart to Hoa Binh.
• On the way, you can stop at some beautiful attraction points for photo-taking. We also stop at a local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority to learn about the daily life and customs.
• Enjoy the scenery of Thung Khe Pass.
• Arrive in Mai Chau – Lac Village and check in our homestay/hotel.
• Enjoy local lunch.
• After lunch, take a bicycle ride with the tour guide to see farmers working in the field or weaving scarves. We continue to cycle around peaceful villages.
• Free and easy exploring the villages before having dinner.
• Overnight in the rural village

Thung Khe Pass

Day 2: Mai Chau – Pu Luong

• After breakfast, depart to Pu Luong via a breathtaking mountain pass, giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. Walk around and explore the beautiful landscape before having lunch.
• Descend into the beautiful valley and walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths and continue to trek through farmland, villages, fields, rivers and mountains to enjoy the ever-changing sceneries.
• Transfer back to the home stay/hotel for dinner and overnight

Pu Luong

Day 3: Pu Luong - Hanoi

• After breakfast, you will be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk and get to see stunning water wheels. You will discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
• Arrive at a local fisherman’s house, gear up for the rafting adventure. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, and also learn how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.
• After lunch, back to Hanoi.
• 5pm: Arrive in Hanoi and the tour ends.

Confirmation:

• You will receive a confirmation email within 4 working days

How to Buy:

• Select the preferred date and purchase online
• Kindly e-mail us your name, number of people joining the tour, hotel information, contact number and/or any other requests
• Receive a separate email confirmation within 4 working days
• Present the e-ticket to the tour operator on the day of tour for verification

Important Notes:

• Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
• The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
• There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
• In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
• In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
• Any amendments to the given tour itinerary must be given at least 48 hours before tour departures. Tour operator shall confirm and inform any price changes within 6 working hours.
• Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.

About the Tour:

• Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
• Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
• The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
• The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
• Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
• Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
