Overview
Day 1: Arrival and City Tour of Hanoi
- Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport in the morning, welcomed by our guide and transfer to a central located hotel. Check in hotel to store the luggage before lunch at local restaurant.
- In the afternoon, visit Ngoc Son Taoist Temple, located on a little island of Hoan Kiem Lake and listen to a beautiful legend of this central Lake and learn about the rare species of tortoise which lived there.
- Finish the day with a cyclo ride around Hanoi’s Old Quarter, which is also known as the ‘36 streets’. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.
- End the day with the special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklores through a compelling show.
- Dinner at your own expense and overnight in Hanoi.

Hanoi Old Quarter
Hoan Kiem Lake
Day 2: Day Tour to Ninh Binh (Trang An & Hoa Lu)
- You will be picked up by our tour guide and driver at your hotel in Hanoi at 7.30 AM. The drive through the Red River Delta to Ninh Binh takes about 2,5 hours. Upon arrival at Trang An boat operation station, get on a small sampan boat and enjoy 3 hour row on a little river which goes through some limestone tunnel-like caves. This is a very interesting discovery! The scenery is spectacular as you are rowing in between the towering karst formations of this newly recognized Unesco’s heritage.
- After the row, your lunch is served at a local restaurant with local specialties.
- Hoa Lu was chosen as the capital of the nation in the tenth century. The heart of the ancient Vietnam surrounded by steep rock mountains lasted for 41 years before it was moved to Thang Long -Hanoi today. Visiting the area, you are not only able to view the royal palaces which is described amazingly in Vietnamese history but also see the interesting temples which were erected by the locals many years ago. This is where the locals pay homage to the country founders. Here, you will be told an interesting story about the royal family and the fortune of Hoa Lu ancient capital. This piece of Vietnam history will surely make your day more interesting.
- Around 3.00 p.m. get back on your private vehicle and make your way to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi and finish the tour at the door of your hotel.

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
Day 3: Day Tour to Ha Long Bay
- Depart from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 AM. The road journey is on new High Way to the pier in Tuan Chau Island. Around noon, get on board and start the cruise on the emerald green water of Halong Bay. The boat is heading to the main part of the bay and gently cruising among hundreds of spectacular limestone islands. A fresh lunch will be served on the way. The cruise includes 1-hour kayaking at a scenic corner of the bay or riding a rowing sampan ride to visit a hidden lake.
- Followed by a short hike up to an island for a visit to a limestone cave which has many beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. The open deck on the top of the boat with relaxing chairs is a great place for you to enjoy the landscape. Getting back to the pier by 5:00 p.m. and make your way back to Hanoi on the same bus. Arrival time will be about 7.30 PM. Overnight in Hanoi

Ha Long Bay
Day 4: Departure from Hanoi
- Today is your last day of the trip, you are free at leisure or go out for some last shopping (if time permits) until getting picked up and take the private transfer to the ariport for your departure flight. End of service.

Important Notes:
- Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
- The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
- There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilized by the visitor.
- In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
- In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
About the Tour:
- Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
- Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
- The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
- The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
- Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
- Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
- Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
1.1 Cancellation by the traveler
(+) If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will be applied. The effective date of cancellation will be the date the Company receives written notification. The cancellation charge to the clients is described as follows:
• More than 45 days before arrival: No cancellation charge.
• 15 - 45 days prior to departure: 30% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 14 - 08 days prior to departure: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited
• Less than 07 days prior to departure: 100 % of the Tour price is forfeited
For the avoidance of doubt, because there are some suppliers (airlines, hotels, and cruise companies) have cancellation policies that are different from those of the tour operator, the cancellation charge may, at our discretion, be adjusted accordingly.
1.2 Cancellation by the tour operator
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned trip. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer the amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund (not included the bank transfer fee or any third party’s service charge). In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
(*) For this particular clause, you are advised to have the mentioned cases covered by your own travel insurance.
