Overview

The Hanbok has always been a classic traditional representation of the Korean culture,  and it truly is the epitome of elegant Korean beauty.

 

Choose your desired hanbok design from an extensive menu at the Jung-gu district of Seoul. The friendly store assistants will help you with the fitting.

 

Additionally, the Hanbok is like a VIP card of sorts! You are entitled to exclusive discounts (at selected attractions) while wearing the traditional costume. Get free or discounted entry into popular tourist hotspots like palaces, cultural villages, and more. For the full list of benefits, please see here.

 

After capturing all your memories in true Korean fashion, you can even opt for the convenience of having your costumed picked up for a small fee.

Additional Information:

  • Hanboks for children are available
  • Additional distance fee applicable for out of downtown Seoul area, please contact for further inquiries
  • In all cases, remaining rental time cannot be refunded
  • Dependent on the condition of the hanbok, the full rental deposit will be returned after on the spot inspection
  • Customers are advised to select a pickup time to avoid delays during collection. Late arrivals may have to wait for those who have reserved the specific timeslot to be served first
  • Extra fee may be charged in case of an appointment delay
  • Downtown Seoul Area includes places such as Dongdaemun Area, Myeongdong Area, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village and Namsan Hanok Village

Terms and Conditions

 

  • Please arrive in time for pick-up, cancellation may be made if arrive at least 10 minutes late.

  • Customers must agree to pay in full and up front the conditionally-refundable deposit and must fully understand the terms of rental.

  • The booking is not confirmed until a second email confirmation has been sent out.

  • Voucher can only be used on the selected date.

  • Travel Recommends will not be responsible for the loss of ticket caused by individual’s negligence.

  • The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion.

  • The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.

  • Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket/e-voucher will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.

  • No refunds will be entertained for cancellations.
     
  • Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.

  • Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.

Highlights/Itinerary

  • Please arrive in time for pick-up, cancellation may be made if arrive at least 10 minutes late
  • The 4 hour same day rental package is available on a first come, first served basis, customer may need to queue up during peak season/peak hours or not be able to book their preferred hanbok
