What You Get:
 

Flexi pass: Travel on the days of your choice within the validity of your pass, either consecutive or non-consecutive days.
3, 5, or 7 days of train travel within a 1-month period

  • Two children aged 4-11 travel free per 1 adult (not senior or youth), excludes reserved accommodations
  • If there are more than 2 children travelling per adult, a separate Youth pass must be purchased for each additional child.

  • Date selected is not the date of activation
  • Pass must be validated within 11 months of issue.
  • The pass cannot be sold to or used by residents of Europe, the Russian Federation and Turkey.

  • Present your pass and passport/ proof of residence when the conductor checks your ticket on the train

How To Use

Confirmation:
 

  • You will receive a confirmation email and voucher within 24 hours.
  • In the event that you do not receive an email from us, check your Spam folder or notify us via email
     

How to Buy:
 

  • Choose your pass type and validity.
  • Please indicate the total number of adults and children aged 0-11 when booking.
  • Book at least 7 business days before you intend to receive your Eurail Global Pass.
  • Email to us your name, country of residence and passport number – All should be an exact match of your passport details.
  • Reserve your seats​: Reservations are required on most high speed, overnight, scenic, and international trains. We recommend always checking your desired journey for any specific seat reservation requirements.Travelling on local and regional trains does not require seat reservations. Simply board with your rail pass and choose any open seat.
  • Activate and travel: Your rail pass requires that you activate it by getting it stamped at the ticket window at the departure station or at a Eurail Aid Office on the day of your first train journey.
    Present your passport at the station of departure at the same time of pass activation.
    Record your travels on the travel calendar and travel diary before boarding a train

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

  • A Eurail Pass is strictly personal, non-transferable, and valid only upon presentation of a passport or other recognized photographic identification document (no copies accepted).
  • A Eurail Pass must be activated before It can be used. An activated pass will show the first and last day of validity of the pass. No amendments can be made after pass has been issued. Activation must take place within 11 months of the issuing date stamp in the upper right-hand corner of the ticket.
  • Before boarding a train, each journey must be recorded on the Travel Diary. Please be aware that Travel Diary journey details are compulsory. Without travel diary, your Pass is not valid.
  • A Eurail Pass does not guarantee a seat on a train, unless a separate reservation is secured in advance. Fees for seat reservations, sleeping accommodation, port taxes, meals and other services offered on board trains are not included in the Pass.
    For certain trains, reservations in advance are compulsory and surcharges and/or supplements may apply.
  • Passholders must book and/or pay in advance for seat reservation for most high-speed trains (like SNCF TGV, Thalys, Lyria, Trenitalia, Freccia, RENFE AVE, PKP EIP).
  • A Eurail Pass is valid within the overall time period indicated on the pass. Travel can begin after 00:00 hours on the first date of validity, and the last trip must be completed by midnight (24:00 hours) on the last date of validity.
  • A Eurail Pass is valid for travel in the class indicated on the ticket. 1st class Passes are also valid in 2nd class carriages. Those wishing to travel 1st class with a 2nd class Pass must pay the full difference between 1st and 2nd class fare on the respective route. There is no refund for 1st class Pass holders travelling in 2nd class.

 

Conditions of Use:

  • Residents of Europe, the UK, the Russian Federation or Turkey are not eligible to purchase or use a Eurail Global Pass
  • Passes must be activated within 11 months of issue date by a railway official in a participating country (station’s desk) who also fills in the passport number.
  • Passes must be validated prior to boarding 1st train or using a bonus
  • When applicable, the date of travel must be entered before boarding the first train/bonus by the traveller in the corresponding box of the calendar
  • Overnight Train Rule: the date of departure is entered in the calendar box. Travel after midnight still counts as day of departure, provided there is no change of trains.

 

Refund Policy:

  • Passes presented for refund must be unused and not activated. A 15 percent cancellation penalty applies to unused passes returned within 1 year of issue date. Refunds / Exchanges are subject to an administrative fee.
  • The success of your refund claim and the time it takes to process your refund are subject to Rail Europe’s policies.
  • Non-refundable if the passes are lost or stolen
  • Promotional passes cannot be cancelled, refunded or replaced
