Overview

If you’re looking for a trip out of the city, let us take you to the foot of Mt. Fuji for a day of fun and excitement! Between ferocious beasts, cute animals, delicious food and shopping, there is surely something for everyone.

Bright and early in the morning, your first stop is Fuji Safari Park, home to more than 70 species of animals roaming the expansive nature at the foot of Mt. Fuji. Witness the natural habitat of incredible beasts like lions, tigers and cheetahs in the Safari Zone as you pass by in the sightseeing bus. With the marvellous view of Mt. Fuji as the backdrop, you won’t be bored! Not only that, meet some small furry friends at the Fuerai Zone, the park’s own petting zoo. Hang out with some friendly animals like capybaras, meerkats and kangaroos. For a small fee, you can even pet some cats, dogs and rabbits in their dedicated Houses! Don’t miss the opportunity to take some candid photos with them.

Once you’ve had your fill of cuteness for the morning, head over to Ichiko Orchards for a scrumptious barbeque lunch of pork, frankfurters and vegetables under the grape vines. If the grapes tempt you, fret not as you can indulge in 30 minutes of all-you-can-eat grapes as a sweet dessert! As your last stop, you’ll be paying a visit to a local brewery Sasaichi-shuzo, where you can learn about the different kinds of Japanese sake, taste a variety of sake and shop for some souvenirs to take home.

At the end of the day, the trip will return you to Shinjuku. If you’re in need for some fun away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Fuji Safari Park and its furry inhabitants await you on this day tour!

  • Please note that the on your tour day, the fruits may not be ripe. In that case, fruit that has already been harvested may be served in place of the fruit picking activity.
  • To ensure smooth operation of the tour, the tour operator may allocate seats on the transportation and at facilities with designated seats.
  • Please dress comfortably (suitable clothes and walking shoes) for the tour.
  • Please note that views of Mt. Fuji is dependent on the weather conditions and poor weather may affect the views of Mt. Fuji.
  • There is no guarantee that you will be able to see all the animals, especially in bad weather.
  • This tour will be conducted together with Japanese participants. A staff member can provide basic information in English or Chinese but will not be able to give you detailed information on the places visited.
  • Itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and traffic conditions etc.
  • For those who do not eat meat, a vegetable and mushroom BBQ will be served instead. Please let us know at least 5 days in advance. Any later than that and we cannot accommodate your request
  • Please be at the meeting place at least 10 minutes before stipulated time

Important Notes:
 

  • Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
  • The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
  • There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
  • In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator.
  • Booking is required to be made 7 days prior the tour departure date.
  • In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.


About the Tour:

  • Items not included are personal expenses during the tour (telephone, laundry, beverages etc.)
  • Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
  • The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion.
  • The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
  • Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket/e-voucher will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
  • Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
  • Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends, Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
  • Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice. 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • Tour routes subject to cancellation without prior notice due to weather conditions, and (or) when there is an official request from the authorities.
  • Refunds will be given to customers under these circumstances:
  • No refunds will be entertained for cancellation made 6 days or less prior the tour date.
  • 50% of the amount will be refunded to customers for cancellation made at least 7 days prior the tour date.
  • 80% of the amount will be refunded to customers for cancellation made at least 14 days prior the tour date.
  • Please e-mail any amendments to us at least 7 days before the tour date.
