Departing from Tokyo, you will first visit the Izuruhara Benten Pond, which is designated as a prefectural natural treasure and considered to be one of Japan’s clearest water sources. Next, visit Hotokuji Temple, a temple that has been established for over 500 years. Over there, you can be surrounded by nature and take your time to appreciate the red autumn scenery. Afterward, you will head to Takatsudo Gorge, where you can marvel at the autumn beauty and see both sides of the gorge covered in lovely autumn leaves. You can also admire the autumn foliage and natural scenery as you aboard the Watarase Keikoku Sightseeing Railway train that runs along the river. Lastly, you will head to Lake Kusaki, where you can observe the striking contrast between the lake and the autumn foliage.
