Marvel at the awe-inspiring, intricate wooden architecture of one of Thailand’s most visited cultural attractions!
This 105m-tall wooden mammoth is an architecture masterpiece, intricately carved entirely from teak wood without the use of any metal nails. The detailed carvings of elephants, people and scenes, and mythical creatures and deities show how the vision behind this magnificent temple was conceived base on ancient eastern philosophy. That said, this building is a wonder to behold even without its religious significance. The serenity and tranquillity of the site is calming.
Visitors may enjoy martial art displays and traditional Thai dances, including the popular Lao Kra Top Mai where the performers move elegantly between poles of clashing bamboo
