Overview

On this 6day 5night tour, you can explore the most modern Ho Chi Minh city (former Saigon) which was the capital of South Vietnam which was considered as the pearl of the Far East, with featured sites such as Cu Chi Tunnels, Tay Ninh holy temple, cruising on Mekong delta within 5 days. This Southern Tour will bring you a great time while visiting Vietnam.

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

• Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam! Upon arrival to Tan Son Nhat Airport, our driver and guide will meet you and they will transfer you to your hotel in the downtown. Check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Mekong Delta – Ben Tre - Can Tho

• 08.00 a.m. pick up from your hotel. Drive to Mekong delta for a full day tour. Enjoy the lush and evergreen scenery of the most fertile land in the country.
• Take a boat cruise on Mekong River
• Visit orchard garden and taste local fruits freshly picked from trees then visit some local cottage industry.
• Lunch is served with local specialties in a fresh garden before you take a sit on sampan for rowing to explore the mangroves of the Mekong Delta along meandering rivers.
• Boarding the big boat to get back to the harbor then we continue driving toward Can Tho for overnight in a hotel.

Day 3: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City

• Mekong Delta is home to many bustling floating markets. We take a boat trip to explore the vibrant floating market of Cai Rang, where the trading way is unique; each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar canes. After an impressive boat trip, disembark at Ninh Kieu quay then visit an ancient house in Binh Thuy 10 km from Can Tho city . Lunch at local restaurant on the way back to HCMC.

Cai Rang Floating Market

Day 4: Cao Dai Temples – Cu Chi Tunnels

• In the morning, the car will take you out of the bustling city for Cu Chi District, locates approximately 70 km northwest of Saigon. This is a beautiful green land with fruit gardens, rice paddies and plantations. Cu Chi Tunnels are like a spider web in the soil of Cu Chi District. It consists of more than 200km of narrow underground tunnels that connects half or total covered hideouts, shelters, fighting bunkers, hospital, school, living rooms and so on… All was built and used by Viet Cong as resistance against their enemy during the French and American war.
• After touring Cu Chi we make our way for approximately 1hr to Tay Ninh, to the Cao Dai Temple. Here you will see part of a Cao Dai service, with an explanation of this very different religion. Have lunch in a local restaurant before driving back to town (Approx. 3hrs). Overnight in HCMC

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh City Tour

• Half day visit the featured sites of the city. The tour includes Reunification Palace, War Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh market.
• The afternoon is yours to be at leisure or do some last shopping. Spend the last night in Saigon.

Day 6: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City

• On the last day of the trip in Ho Chi Minh City, you are free at leisure or go to do some last shopping before getting picked up and take the private transfer to the ariport for your departure flight. End of service.

Confirmation:

• You will receive a confirmation email within 4 working days
• In the event that you do not receive an email from us, please check your Spam folder or notify us via email

How to Buy:

• Select the preferred date and purchase online
• Kindly e-mail us your name, number of people joining the tour, hotel information, contact number and/or any other requests
• Receive a separate email confirmation within 4 working days
• Present the e-ticket to the tour operator on the day of tour for verification

Terms and Conditions:

Important Notes:

• Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
• The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
• There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
• In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
• In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.

About the Tour:

• Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
• Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
• The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
• The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
• Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
• Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
• Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
 

1.1 Cancellation by the traveler
 

If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will be applied. The effective date of cancellation will be the date the Company receives written notification. The cancellation charge to the clients is described as follows:

•              More than 45 days before arrival: No cancellation charge.

•              15 - 45 days prior to departure: 30% of the Tour price is forfeited

•              14 - 08 days prior to departure: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited

•              Less than 07 days prior to departure: 100 % of the Tour price is forfeited

For the avoidance of doubt, because there are some suppliers (airlines, hotels, and cruise companies) have cancellation policies that are different from those of the tour operator, the cancellation charge may, at our discretion, be adjusted accordingly.

1.2 Cancellation by the tour operator
 

We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned trip. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer the amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund (not included the bank transfer fee or any third party’s service charge). In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.

(*) For this particular clause, you are advised to have the mentioned cases covered by your own travel insurance.
