Overview

Day 1- Saturday: Hanoi – Night Train to Lao Cai 

• 8:30pm: Pick up at the lobby of hotel in Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi Railways station for night train to Sapa.

Day 2 - Sunday: Lao Cai – Bac Ha Market – Sapa

• 6am: We arrive at Lao Cai Railways station. After breakfast at a local restaurant, start our drive to Bac Ha town. The market is located in the heart of Bac Ha town. Every Sunday, the different and colourful ethnic minorities come here to sell their homemade products or buy things back for the family. They are Hmong, Phu La, Black Dzao, Tay or Nung minorities.
• Lunch at a local restaurant
• Transfer back to Sapa in the afternoon.
• Overnight at the hotel in Sapa

Day 3 - Monday: Walk through Rice Field for Half Day – Ham Rong Mountain - Hanoi

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Start our journey towards Muong Hoa valley and descending into the valley, where we will see the largest rice paddy terrace in Sapa area. If you visit the valley between May and October, we will be able to observe and experience how the local do planting and harvesting.
• Walk from Lao Chai village of Black Hmong minority to Ta Van village of Giay minority including a visit to the local Catholic Church.
• Return to Sapa by car
• 12pm: Check out hotel and climb up to Ham Rong mountain to have an overview of Sapa – the city in the cloud.
• In the afternoon, transfer back to Lao Cai station for our night train to Hanoi

Day 4 - Tuesday: Arrive in Hanoi in early morning. Back to your hotel from the train station at your own expense.

Note: The tour only starts every Saturday evening because the Bac Ha Market is only open on Sunday

Confirmation:

• You will receive a confirmation email within 4 working days

How to Buy:

• Select the preferred date and purchase online
• Kindly e-mail us your name, number of people joining the tour, hotel information, contact number and/or any other requests
• Receive a separate email confirmation within 4 working days
• Present the e-ticket to the tour operator on the day of tour for verification

Important Notes:

• Tours and tickets are subjected to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
• The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
• There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor.
• In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
• In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
• Any amendments to the given tour itinerary must be given at least 48 hours before tour departures. Tour operator shall confirm and inform any price changes within 6 working hours.
• Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.

About the Tour:

• Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
• Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
• The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
• The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
• Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
• Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
