Overview

Local, scenic and quiet, Ninh Binh is truly a hidden gem waiting for you to discover. Tam Coc is often known as romantic and peaceful sceneries and one of the best picturesque spots in the north of Vietnam. The other highlight in Ninh Binh is Mua Cave, which can be considered as the Vietnamese version of The Great Wall. The way leading to Mua Cave is a 500-step stone staircase. When you conquer the staircase and stand at the peak of the mountain, you manage to see the grand ornate stone dragon and stunning view of Ninh Binh which is worth the expectation. This tour is the most suitable to those who love scenery and nature.

  • The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.

How To Get There

Pick Up Detail:

Itinerary:

  • 7-7.30am: Pick up from hotel by car or mini van transfer to Ninh Binh.
  • 9am-9.30am: Arrive at Tam Coc, our tour guide and driver team will pick up and ride you to visit 4 rural villages to see rice paddies fields with beautiful landscape of limestone mountain. You also have a chance to visit local families followed by a huge valley called Thung Nham and Bich Dong temple or visit Mua Cave - the most beautiful place to view in Ninh Binh. 
  • 12 -12.30pm: Lunch with set menu of Vietnamese food
  • 1pm: Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drit down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves "Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba" to get thrilling feeling. 
  • 2.45pm: Riders pick you up and bring you to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital. Tour guide will give you an introduction of Vietnam history in 10th century. 
  • 3.30pm - 4pm: Getting on a car to return to Hanoi.
  • 6pm -6.30pm: Tour ends, drop off at the hotel.
