Travelling in comfort on the tour bus, you’ll be visiting Kyoto’s fall highlights such as Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine, famously known for its paths lined with Kirishima azaleas, Tofukuji Temple which boasts exquisite views of the maple trees from Tsutenkyo Bridge, and Arashiyama and its famed bamboo forest, lesser known to tourists for its amazing fall colours.

  • Infant price (age 3-5) includes bus seats only. Meals and bedding are not provided
  • Free of charge for children age 2 and below who do not require seats. If your child requires a seat and meals, please purchase a child ticket
  • Tour departures are planned according to previous years’ viewing seasons. However, the best viewing season for this year may not be the same and may be earlier or later. The tour will go ahead regardless of the condition of the autumn leaves. If the tour itinerary is changed partially or the tour is cancelled, you will be informed in advance.
  • Arrival at Nagaoka Tenmangu Shrine is around 0830, which is before the shrine office opens, thus you may not be able to receive a Goshuin stamp (temple seal that proves visit). 
  • If the Arashiyama boat cruise is cancelled due to bad weather, the time at Arashiyama will be extended 
  • Although lunch is included in the tour, drinks are not included
  • Smoking is prohibited in the bus
  • This tour involves long walking, so please wear comfortable walking shoes. Please bring an extra jacket for chilly mornings and evenings during November in Kyoto
  • This tour will be conducted together with Japanese participants
  • The tour bus will stop at several pick-up points before arriving at your meeting point. The bus may be late due to traffic or other circumstances, but it will come to your meeting point. Please wait for the bus at the designated meeting place
  • For smooth operation of the group tour, the tour operator is responsible for allocating the seating for transportation (bus, trains, etc.) used during the tour and at facilities where seats are designated
  • Itinerary is subject to change depending on weather and traffic conditions etc. 
  • Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before departure time

Cancellation Policy:

  • No refunds will be entertained for cancellations
  • There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilised by the visitor
  • In the event of late comers/no show, it would be considered as cancellation and no refund will be given
