Overview
This package is a nice journey to explore the landscape & sceneries are created not only by farming terraces but also by numerous of limestone cliffs. In the region, there are different tribes such as Muong, Dao, Hmong & White Thai. You will have one night homestay at a village of the Thai ethnic minority & one day cruise to Ha Long World Heritage Site. You will stay away from the bustle & hustle of the city; bathe yourselves in pristine sceneries of limestone mountains, valleys and meet friendly locals in peaceful villages. Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
- Welcome to Noi Bai Airport, Hanoi. You will be welcomed and picked up by private tour guide and driver. Transferred to the city center for hotel check-in. Free and easy for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel

Day 2: Mai Chau Valley Day Tour
- The tour departs from Hanoi at 07:30 a.m. The morning drive takes about 3.5 hours overland to Mai Chau valley, a stunning valley of White Thai ethnic minority in Hoa Binh province. You will have some stops on the way to take photographs. Arrive at Lac Village around noon; this is a peaceful and beautiful hilly area.
- Have Vietnamese lunch at a Thai family's stilt house.
- After lunch and rest, go for a short trek about 2.5 hours to explore the surroundings and visit some villages, rice paddies and gardens. Or you can choose to discover the area by bicycles. This is the best time for you to experience the local life, their agriculture and beautiful handicrafts.
- Back to the local family for a short break before getting on your bus and return to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi about 6:00 PM. Free and easy in the evening.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay Day Cruise
- Depart from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 AM. The road journey is on new High Way to the pier in Tuan Chau Island. Around noon, get on board and start the cruise on the emerald green water of Halong Bay. The boat is heading to the main part of the bay and gently cruising among hundreds of spectacular limestone islands. A fresh lunch will be served on the way. The cruise includes 1-hour kayaking at a scenic corner of the bay or riding a rowing sampan ride to visit a hidden lake.
- Followed by a short hike up to an island for a visit to a limestone cave which has many beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. The open deck on the top of the boat with relaxing chairs is a great place for you to enjoy the landscape. Getting back to the pier by 5:00 p.m. and make your way back to Hanoi on the same bus. Arrival time will be about 7.30 p.m.

Day 4: City Tour of Hanoi and Departure
- On the last day of the trip, spend the morning to visit the featured sites of the city. The sightseeing places include: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Uncle Ho's stilt house, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. In the afternoon, if time permits you may have time to do some last shopping. This depends on your departure flight time. The airport transfer takes 40 minutes from the city center.

Important Notes:
- Tours and tickets are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a second confirmation email is received. In the event if the date selected is not available, alternative arrangements will be communicated via email.
- The tour may disembark at a different location from the initial meeting point. For disembarkation, please enquire with the tour guide on the day of tour.
- There will be no refunds even if included items are not utilized by the visitor.
- In circumstances that the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions, customers will be notified by the tour operator
- In the event of late comers/no shows, it would be considered cancellation and no refund will be given.
About the Tour:
- Items not included are personal expenses during the tour.
- Travel Recommends and the tour operator will not be responsible for any accidents, loss of property or damaged caused by individual negligence.
- The e-ticket cannot be exchanged for cash or used on more than one occasion. Any alteration(s) on the e-ticket will not be accepted by Travel Recommends and the appointed merchant.
- The value of the e-ticket/e-voucher is in local currency.
- Tour routes and schedule may be delayed/cancelled/changed without prior notice.
- Tour prices vary on seasons and weekdays/weekends. Travel Recommends reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. In the event where changes are made, the revised figures will be posted on the website.
- Travel Recommends reserves the right to adjust the prices based on current exchange rates without prior notice.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
1.1 Cancellation by the traveler
(+) If you cancel some or all portions of your booking, cancellation fees will be applied. The effective date of cancellation will be the date the Company receives written notification. The cancellation charge to the clients is described as follows:
• More than 45 days before arrival: No cancellation charge.
• 15 - 45 days prior to departure: 30% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 14 - 08 days prior to departure: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited
• Less than 07 days prior to departure: 100 % of the Tour price is forfeited
For the avoidance of doubt, because there are some suppliers (airlines, hotels, and cruise companies) have cancellation policies that are different from those of the tour operator, the cancellation charge may, at our discretion, be adjusted accordingly.
1.2 Cancellation by the tour operator
We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure if, due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events it is not viable for us to operate the planned trip. If we cancel your trip, you can transfer the amounts paid to an alternate departure date or alternatively receive a full refund (not included the bank transfer fee or any third party’s service charge). In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
(*) For this particular clause, you are advised to have the mentioned cases covered by your own travel insurance.
